VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

All volunteers are required to complete an application form and undergo a background check or any other qualifying requirements contingent on the school's specific requirements.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO VOLUNTEER?

The program's volunteers may include any public service personnel active in society. These public service professionals include, but are not limited to, firefighters, police officers, military personnel, veterans, medical first responders, retired teachers, etc.

WHAT IS VOLUNTEERING ALL ABOUT?

Volunteers participating in the program may be involved in a variety of activities with the students, including but not limited to the following:

Reading with individual students/ to the class

Working with small groups of students 

Assisting students with schoolwork

Working on creative projects with students 

Participating in celebrations with the classroom

Teaching students about jobs and skills

Eating lunch with students

Interacting with students on the playground

Participating in school- wide events
